Speech Therapy Sessions
Speech therapy sessions range from 30 to 60 minutes in length and are in either small group settings or one-on-one, depending on the needs of the individual child. Parents are encouraged to attend the sessions to learn skills and techniques that will benefit their child, as participation at home is an essential part of the progress that can be made with each child.
Sertoma Kids Provides An Individualized Approach
Our certified speech language pathologists create personalized treatment plans for each child. These plans include goals and objectives to monitor success in the child’s performance, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, and overall progress. Because we understand the value of family involvement in the therapy process, our speech language pathologists also work closely with parents and caregivers to provide instruction and tips on exercises they can perform at home.
